Where Should You Apply?

If one or both applicants live in Hamilton County, you can obtain your license through the Hamilton County Clerk and use it for a marriage anywhere in Indiana.

If neither applicant lives in Indiana, you must obtain the license from the Indiana county where the marriage ceremony will take place.

How Long Is the License Good For?
